The Iranian sports para-athletes have so far grabbed 47 medals, including 16 golds, 19 silvers, and 12 bronzes, in various sports categories.
Iranian shooter Faezeh Ahmadi added a gold medal in the P2 - Women's 10m Air Pistol SH1 on the second day of the competition for the country’s medals.
Other Iranian athletes including Sina Zeighaminejad (Swimming), Sareh Javanmardi (Shooting), Amir Jafari (Weightlifting), and Mousa Gholami (Judo) each gained silver medals.
While Shahin Izadyar (Swimming) and Mehdi Barchlou (Judo) each received bronze medals.
At the end of the second day, Iran now ranks second in the medal table with 47 medals and China leads the table with 165 medals and Japan stands in third place with 45 medals.
